Haunted Staircase and A Nature Hike

 After fishing we had lunch at

The Old Plantation.

It's a historic restaurant and it's

said to be haunted.

THIS STAIRCASE

is supposed to be haunted.

 I think I counted three little spooks!

Did they scare you?

After lunch we hiked the trail.

 It was a beautiful day and we saw

a little bit of wildlife.

We had a really good time.

I think they'd all like to go again.

Only the fish are hungrier in our

neighborhood pond, so we might just

hike and eat next time.

Fishing With Three Girls

 Brandy and I went on a little

fishing trip with 

Grace, Olivia and Brilyn!

(Asher went, too, but he didn't explore or fish..... maybe next time)

 Grace learned to cast her pole 

all by herself. She now needs very

little help when fishing.

And she loves EXPLORING!

 Olivia and Brilyn enjoyed

feeding the ducks.

And while they fed the ducks,

they were also feeding the fish.

 

 So.... there was really no need for

those fish to bite into our

worms and get stuck on or hooks.

(we didn't catch many)

 The girls enjoyed playing with the worms.

 They also got to touch the fish we caught.

 They even kissed them good bye

before throwing them back into the water.

Such a fun  adventure for little girls!

Little Helpers

I get to babysit

Weston on Monday's.

 When Grace and Olivia were here,

they helped!

 They like feeding him, and bathing him.

But not changing him!

And I think they like bath time

the best. But then, I think

Weston does, too.

Who doesn't love a nice

relaxing bath.

Or, at least this is what Grace

looks like after beating me

at "Go Fish" for the

umpteenth time!

And I thought I would

be helping her learn her numbers

by playing?

I think I was a little too late. 

A Pretty Little Mess

 Brilyn loves almost anything messy!

 So, she really loved this

birdhouse project.

She painted it all by herself.

 She even painted HERSELF!

Both turned out pretty cute!

A BIG Hiking Adventure!

 Brilyn has been asking to go hiking

almost every day!

 So - when I got a day off that's

what we did.

 We hiked to a secret waterfall

in the mountains.

 Brilyn and her little friend Madison

went all the way to the falls

with Uncle Billy and Austin.

(Austin is Alyssa's little brother. Billy and 

Austin sort of served as our guides)

 Madison surprised her Momma

by acting like a BIG girl!

 Billy had an opportunity or two

to show off!

(his specialty)

 And this is our group - minus me!

And it all started with Brilyn wanting

to go hiking!

 We found a crawdad - which Billy

explained to Brilyn was GOOD EATIN'.

 And learned that it might be best to kill

your prey before eating it.

Live prey bites back!

 Brilyn wanted no part of that ugly thing.

 Actually - it was kind of cute!

 But - not as cute as this little guy!

Weston enjoyed his first hiking trip,

and seemed very content when

he wasn't hungry.

 We saw Canadian Geese.

And we saw deer!

It was a perfect day for hiking and

we had a great time!

And Brilyn wants to go again!

My Handsome Boy!

Babies grow up way too fast!

Just look at these boys!

 

 Weston is now 3 Months Old!

And sweeter than anything else you

see in this picture!

And Asher is 7 Months Old

and big enough to begin

getting into things!

He's awfully sweet, too!

Babies are just not babies long enough!
