Grace spent the night and when she woke
up she wanted breakfast.... and then she wanted to
go to the park!
Lawton just completed their
Playground In The Park project, so I thought
it would be a good time to check out the
new playground!
We invited Brilyn to come, too
and both girls loved it!
This is the entrance!
Isn't it wonderful? Just count the slides
from this one angle! There are so many!
Here is another angle! Just look at all
of the things you can climb and all
of the slides. There are slides for every stage
of development.
Baby Slides, Toddler Slides, Preschool Slides
and Big Kid Slides!
There are tons of swings, too!
Here are two large sets and there is a third
set of Baby Swings in the distance!
There is another set of tire swings on
the other side, but I didn't get a picture of those!
Grace had fun checking everything out!
The swings are normally her favorite playground
activity - but this playground
challenged her to explore other things to
play on!
She had such a good time!
And Brilyn thinks she's big enough to
do everything Grace can do!
Just look at her trying to keep up!
And here, I think she's wondering why this slide
is so bumpy! It looks like a slide, but really,
it's a climber!
And once you climg up, it takes you to a slide
that's perfect for babies and toddlers!
We liked the railing on this playground, too!
So many playgrounds have only two
horizontal rails but this one has several vertical rails
that are just perfect for keeping crawlers and toddlers safe!
There are also several little things scattered around...
teeter totters... a large canon.... musical play things..
Overall, it's a GREAT PLAYGROUND!
I can't wait to go again!
I want to go! What a great playground, wow, they have come a long way since I was a kid!
