Happy Birthday, Andrew!!!!

Andrew is a good son.

A good husband.

A good father.

And a good man!

I'm so happy God placed

him in our family.

He has been a blessing,

and I'm extremely proud

of the man he's 

grown up to be.

Hot Air Balloon Inspiration

Last time I went to see 

Grace and Olivia they were 

wanting a hot air balloon

for their dolls.

Soooooo.... we created this!

(This is Grace's. Olivia made one, too, but 

took hers apart to play with the bouncy ball)

It is simply one BIG ball, four wooden 

dowels a bucket and some duct tape.

But it provided hours of fun!

I was actually surprised at how

much play value it had.

The girls.... and their little 

friend Isaac, played with it 

almost all day!

And I think their little dolls

were very HAPPY!

Grace's Choir Concert

 Grace joined the Children's Choir

at the church she attends this year.

 She just participated in her 

first concert:

Praise Like Fireworks

 She is a first grader and you have to 

be in second grade to try out for 

solos and speaking parts....

but she got to sing in the choir.

Can you see her there between the

girl in the PINK and the girl in the BLUE?

The performance was spectacular and it

had a very good message.

We should be so full of praises for 

our God that we can't keep them

contained.... like a firework the never

fizzles out.

Olivia at Dance

 During a recent trip to Texas,

I got to take Olivia to dance.

 This is her little dance class.

 They were practicing for an

upcoming recital -

which  won't be able to attend.

(it was rescheduled, due to a death in the teacher's family, 

to a date I already had a book signing scheduled)

So - I was really happy for this

opportunity to see her dance! 

I think she was happy, too!

Dance seems to bring out the 

joy in the dancer.

Weston, Brilyn and Asher at Chuck E. Cheese's

 During fall break, Alyssa was off, so

her and Weston were able to

join us at Chuck E. Cheese.

 Brilyn always likes visiting with

Chuck! She enjoys dancing, picking

up free tickets and getting her

picture taken.

 Weston enjoyed the rides!

 He liked seeing the smoke from

the little train ride's smoke stack.

And choo-chooing along with 

the train.  Isn't he precious?
