The Coolest Zoo, Ever!

While the girls were here, earlier in the
month we went to
in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.
Brilyn, Asher and Weston went, too!
This is a very hands-on zoo!
We all got to play with a baby taliger!
(half tiger and half liger {lion-tiger mix})
The Taliger's name was Alisa and it
loved Olivia!
It actually, loved Olivia's frilly dress.
It would chase her and bite it and the
wildlife attendant would often have to
pull it away. The cub was gentle andwas never
really a threat to Olivia - only her dress.
I played with the Taliger, too, but for
the most part, I was happy to take pictures
and let the kids play. After all,
what kid can say they've actually played
with a baby taliger?
 Asher & the Taliger
 Weston & the Taliger
 The taliger, Alisa, by herself!
Grace & the taliger.
Grace probably enjoyed this as much
as anyone. I think she played with the
little cub the most.
And I'll share more about this
hands on zoo later.
There is just too much to share
in only one post.

Our Little Cowboy

Some boys seem to be
born with their boots on!
They're 100% Cowboy!
And, I think our Weston might
just be one of them.
Here he is in his Daddy's saddle
with a row of boots just waiting
to be filled.
His boots, Daddy's boots
and Momma's boots, too.
Isn't he the cutest little cowboy, ever?

Weston

 Weston is an amazingly
alert little guy.
He wants to know what's going
on around him all the time,
so he is not much of a sleeper.

So, he did not sleep for our
photo shoot!
I did happen to get one image
of him where he LOOKS like
he is sleeping, though.
Isn't that sweet?
The trick is to shoot FAST!
Then, take two pictures.
When the lights flash for the first photo
he will close his eyes for a split
second, giving you a chance
to take a second shot!
And don't worry..... he was perfectly
safe when we took these
photos. His Momma was right there
spotting him for safety.
Now.... isn't he just about the cutest
little cowboy you've ever seen?
