Olivia Loves the Water

 Olivia loves the water!

One day I took her to the water park and held

her under a water fall - like fixture and she

giggled until she fell asleep.

And in the bath... she likes the water left on~

She likes to feel it rush out of the faucet

and over her hand.

And when the water is not running

she is still smiling!

Don't you just love that smile?

See My Little Water Fairy

 On one of the Tinkerbell Movies, Tinkerbell

wants to change talents. She looks around

and tries to find something she is good at

other than tinkering!

 And she learns that she is no good at moving bubbles.

When she picks on up, it pops! She is never able to

get a single dew drop on a spider web!

But, Grace can hold a bubble in her hand!

She can put it anywhere she wants

without popping it!

So..... she could be a water fairy!

She's got the talent!

All she needs is a little

pixie dust and some wings!



Tea Room Decor

I have a little tea room in the front

of the house!

It's where the girls and I have our

little tea parties!

This year, I've been decorating it,

and it's coming along nicely!

My favorite decorations are the little tea cups

hanging around the top of the room!

Aren't they darling?

I've been collecting them for several months

and I almost have enough to go around

the whole toom!

There are some duplicates, but there are

also several "one of a kind" pieces!

I've got a nice mix of color, too!

Now.... if I could just fina a vintage buffet

or side table, my room will be complete!

I can't wait!

I'll show you the rest of the room

someday! Hopefully,

I'll have it finished SOON!

Running Through The Sprinkler!

 I've finally figured out how to get Grace out of

her pajamas!

 If she could, this girl would stay in her

pajamas all day long!

She loves lounging around and taking it easy!

 But - you can't sit on the sofa and eat your breakfast

with wet pajamas.

You can't snuggle up and watch a movie, either!

 You HAVE to change!

 But, hey!

That's okay!

It was so much fun getting all wet

that not even Grace minds having to change!

Somewhere..... Over A Rainbow!

 We had planned to go to the water park and

it was closed, so I set up a sprinkler beside

the pool and let Gracie have her own

little waterpark.

The water from the sprinkler created a

rainbow and Gracie got to pretend

she was climbing up and sliding

down.

See.... in the photo above she's

sliding down a rainbow!

 And I've always heard that treasure could

be found at the end of a rainbow.

Now that I've seen a rainbow up close,

I know that that is definately true.

Grace is a treasure, sure enough!

I wouldn't trade her for a

pot of gold!



Building Blocks!

 Brilyn loves building things with blocks!

Normally, we build towers to knock down, but

this time we decided to build a chair and let

Brilyn play "Goldilocks" and bust the chair

into pieces.

It doesn't really matter what we build.

If the blocks come out, Brilyn has

a good time!

And here is what our chair looked like

before Goldilocks got to it!

Way, Way, Way Up In The Air!

 Gracie loves playing in the pool!

Especially when Daddy gets in and plays, too!

Here he is tossing her way, way, way up

in the air and she is coming down with

a great big splash!

What a fun way to spend

a summer day!

Brilyn Having A Tea Party!

 Brilyn is getting quite effecient at enjoying

a tea party.

 She's started getting the tea cups and plates

and setting them out while

saying, "Tea, tea!"

 This particular day it was just before

noon and I really didn't want to

spoil her lunch, so I opened a couple

of lunchables and we had those for

a tea time treat!

I've found that it's not the

snack that the girls find so important,

anyway. It's the pouring of the tea

that they love so much!

And - Brilyn still got to enjoy

pouring her tea!

Olivia Gets A Ride!

 Gracie gave rides to her Daddy and Olivia!

Look.... do you see Grandpa with his hands

up in the air. Gracie is steering!

And look closely at Olivia!

Olivia is Grandpa's Girl!

She's about as taken to Grandpa as I've

ever seen a kid taken to anyone!

And - the greatest form of admiration is

immitation!

If you look closely, you will see

that Olivia is imitating Grandpa!

She can ride that ride with

her hands up in the air, too!



Look Whose Driving!

 It's Gracie!

She used to like to stay on smooth

trails, but now, she likes going up and down

and over the bumps in the Razor!

 And she has started helping

Grandpa Drive!

She's getting pretty good at it, too!

Anyone want to go for a ride?

Brilyn Having Fun In The Sun!

 Brilyn really enjoys her pool time!

 She THINKS she is too big to wear a

floatie, though!

 She's a very brave girl!

 She doesn't mind going under, and water

in her face doesn't bother her at all!

She might actually swim if I would

let go of her long enough to give her a chance.

She kicks and paddles

but when I let go she goes under

so I scoop her back up.

It's funny how much more cautious you are

wtih your grandkids than you are with

your own children.

When her Daddy and her uncles were

small, they all swam under water

and it didn't bother me a bit.

With grandkids I want to see those

little faces sticking up!



Olivia's Photo Shoot

 Olivia was all smiles for her

photo shoot!

 She's even taken to posing!

Could she pose any more perfect?

 When she wasn't posing she played

Peek-A-Boo!

 BOO!

 Isn't she just adorable?

You have to love that smile!

 And - of course, I did an accordian mini

for Olivia, too!

and a fun dot background paper.

It is SUPER, super cute!
