What's Brilyn Getting Into?

 Look!

She's checking to see if she's going to get caught!

 But.... when you say "No, No" she

quickly relents and closes the door.

Things like Grandpa's X-Box are tempting!

But.... Brilyn is eager to please, so she normally obeys!

She is such a good girl!

She is busy and adventurous and gets into

everything.... but, she also gets out of it

when she's told to. I love that about her!

She's so quick to obey!

That is such an important skill for little ones.

It can be a life saving skill if it prevents

them from running into the street - just once - at

just the right time!

Brilyn And Her Baby!

 Brilyn is so cute playing with her baby!

It has a pacifier.... just like her!

 And it likes to snuggle and rock.... just like her!

 She's so gentle as she loves on it.... and pats it...

And she's so proud of herself when she

gets it's pacifier in it's mouth!

Yep.... she knows just what that baby needs!

Someday, she'll make a great little Momma!

She's learning from one of the best...

her own Momma!

Who does an amazing job

taking care of HER!

Olivia's Day At The Park

 Olivia likes spending time at the park, too!

There just isn't a lot a little one can do.

 But.... she loves swinging!

 And swinging!

 And trying to climb up the slide!

 And feeling the breeze on her face!

For some reason she seemed to enjoy climbing on and

off of the end of the slide. It must be just the right

size for her to climb!

And soon.... she'll be able to climb and slide

and swing and jump and do the obstacle

course items and everthing!

But for now, we'll enjoy helping her!

And holding her!

She's a sweet snuggly girl and we want

to make sure we've gotten all the sweet

snuggles out of her that we can before she decides

enough is enough

and prefers to play!

Grace's Day At The Park

 It's been warm and sunny and just perfect

for spending time at the park!

 And Grace loves going!

 This is a Teeter-Totter that you sit caddy corner on!

 And this is some sort of climbing thing!

Grace loves to climb!

 And this is a bouncy thing!

 And a Baby Swing! Grace can swing in the

big kid swings, but she still loves these.

 And an obstacle course!

And here Grace is on the ropes!

She really enjoyed climbing on this until her

Momma called it a spider web. Then, she wanted

off because she didn't want any of the

spiders to get her.

Sometimes, she takes what we say

just a little too literally!

Rub A Dub Dub, There's a Kid In The Tub!

 And look! It's Brilyn!

 Isn't she just the cutest little thing?

 She loves her bath and she loves splashing!

And getting water in her face doesn't bother her

in the least. Maybe this sumer,

she will learn to swim!

Ear Infections

Brilyn has had a series of ear infections and when this

picture was taken she wasn't feeling good!

But, even when she's not feeling good,

she's a sweet angel of a child!

She snuggles and rocks and cuddles and kisses!

I really love this little girl!

Grace Take A Picture

 Grace got ahold of my play camera and decided to

take some pictures!

 I'm not sure what she thought she was taking pictures of...

 But, she got pretty creative with the angles.

And - her focus and lighting are good!

Someday, I hope to have a little

photographer's helper.

Hmmmmm.... it might be a little while.

But - she's good at getting kids to smile, now!

If she goes to work with me,

that can be her job for now!

Olivia

 Just look at this little one!

She's such a happy girl!

And so, so sweet!

She like playing with blocks!

Or rather... she likes to watch as YOU play with blocks.

Until you build a big, BIG Tower!

Then she likes for YOU to watch as she knocks it down!

She LOOKS sweet and innocent....

But - she can destroy a block tower faster than

you can blink an eye!

BOOM!

Time to start building again!

Brilyn and Olivia

 Heather took Grace to the doctor... and Brandy went

to the doctor with a friend, so I ended up

getting to babysit Brilyn AND Olivia!

 They had so much fun playing together!

 Brilyn  was One in January and Olivia was One

in February, so they are just about

a month apart.

 And they play so well together.

 I'm sure they will have lots of good times growing up!

Look! They're sharing!

Taking turns!

And becoming great friends!

Cousins should be friends!

And I think these two have figured that out!

Good Morning Little Princess!

 Brilyn spent the night and woke up happy, but hungry!

 So... I intoduced her to Princess Pancakes!

(that's what we call these tiny ones)

 She loved them!

Of course, Brilyn loves just about everything!

This little girl likes to eat, so she is

a cook's dream!

It'll be so fun cooking with her when she's

big enough to help!

Grace & Olivia Enjoying The New Tea Cups!

 Here is Grace & Olivia enjoying the new additions to our tea collection! They came over and wanted a tea party...

So we partied!

 Olivia is getting quite skilled at drinking from a teacup!

And the girls love cherries, so this is what I fixed for desert!

Chocolate dipped treats from Heather's trip to

Germany garnished with LOTS of cherries!

Fast, simple and delightful

to the two little girls

who gobbled them up!

New Additions to Our Tea Room

 This is our Tea Room!

Or - part of it!

It's where the majority of our tea parties take place!

And... while on a recent shopping trip to

my favorite Antique Store

I found this!

 A BEAUTIFUL set of vintage plates, saucers and tea cups!

 Here is a close up!

 And another one from the side!

I bought them, carried them home and hoped to find a

teapot to match online.

I've looked and looked to no avail, but still,

we're enjoying the pretty cups and saucers.

 I got new napkins, too!
